#1 Pennarin Jun 30, 2005 22:02:14	This thread is for concerns and feedback regarding ART in the preview version of Dregoth Ascending: The Quest. Praise, flames, etc. are welcome. What should we keep, what should we alter for the final release? Be aware that there will be art on the front page for the final release and that several more art pieces are in the works and will be ready in time.

#5 Kamelion Jul 01, 2005 3:57:48	Cool picture of Asthira too! (I'm posting this while I page through the doc...) It might be a tall order, but I'd really like to see a picture of all three sorcerer-monarchs (Hamanu, Nibenay and Lalali-Puy) by Taciana Gama in the final release. There is a real dearth of quality pics of those guys.
#6 greyorm Jul 01, 2005 10:41:18	I agree, the interior work is excellent, particularly Steve Bell's pieces which really struck me when I viewed them (and that isn't to make anyone else feel like their work is substandard: all of it is EXCELLENT. I'm very impressed by the quality of the illustrations in DA II). BTW, there will be an image of Hammanu on the final release cover in his lion-headed form (I know, because I did it!). However, I also think a more specifically focused and detailed shot of Hammanu from Steve would be a great addition as well (or heck, I can even whip up one from the various scene angles I tried out, if Pen wants me too).

This thread here is for The Quest, i.e. DA Part 2. Well, I feel stupid. I went straight to "releases" instead of reading the news ANYWHO... Good stuff. My favorite is the picture of Grogh-En on pg. 25. that one just popped out right at me. All the tomb pictures are great, too. And the picture of Asthira (?) is gorgeous. My only complaint is that there isn't more to see at this time. ;)
#11 kalthandrix Jul 02, 2005 7:19:45	I would have to agree with Phoenix Down- love the art work, but I wish there was a little more. I like the idea of having a pic with the three rulers in it, expecially one of Hamanu and Nibenay seperatly- they are my two favorite SK's.
