Jul 01, 2005 13:06:03 what's wrong with rogue? ... they have plenty of different skills to choose from, fair saves, fair HD, and very good skills.

Jul 01, 2005 14:55:01 I never said that there was anything wrong with rouge levels. Tas has levels in Handler though, through the War of the Lance sourcebook.

rouge ... rogue ... just a case of fingers and brain not communicating at the proper frequency (one is slower/faster than the other) ...

ie:

teh
studnet (instead of student ... oi, I've done that lots of times)

withe instead of 'with the'

I forget if handler is a PrC or regular class from WotL ... for some reason I thought it was the same as Rogue (just a name change) (book is currently packed up).

The DLCS basically says that kender rogues are handlers and explains the frame of mind for it. Traditionally, kender rogues/thieves are seen as handlers.

War of the Lance was the first time that a handler prestige class was in print. Though a straight rogue would fill the role of a handler well enough, the handler prestige class exemplifies the role the best.

rogue ... handler ... rouge ... whatever , they all should work well for any Kender (Expert even, add a skill focus at every 4th level for some extra ability for a NPC)
