I can buy seven tickets to the "True Dungeon" at GenConIndy? It's sold out but I figure there has to be a scalper somewhere.

I have two extras, not that that's much help. I accidentally booked the wrong time during the first day craziness of sign up. I expect that there will be lots of similar situations to mine, since registration process was anything but smooth. So keep an eye out. You can't get refunds for event tickets until the show starts.

However likelyhood of getting a full party (7 tickets) seems really slim.

For those of you wondering what True dungon has to do with Greyhawk, the titles of the two GenCon events are "Assault atop Castle Greyhawk" and "Battle beneath Castle Greyhawk".

Last year's event was called "Return to Hommlet", and was fantastic.

I'm assuming my pals and I can still spend some time in the tavern though, right? 7000 square feet of a simulated tavern in GH city? I can't wait for the brawl to break out.

I was at their website yesterday and I noticed they were based out of Carbondale, IL which is where I went to college (SIU, BA '95). I wish they'd have been around when I went to EgyptianCon 94 and 95.

Hey Elendur, PM me and let me know if we can work something out for the two extra you have. My DM and I would make excellent additions to your party.

Yes, the tavern will be open to all. From the website :
For decades gamers have had their characters hang out in fantasy taverns, and now gamers will get a chance to share in the fun too. The Tavern is a sprawling 7,000 sq. ft. fantasy setting that will allow you to relax, share some drinks, tell some old gaming stories and revel in the D&D gaming culture. Not just a tavern, there is also a back alley with a Magic shop, a Blacksmith, and a Cartographer's shop. Many surprises await, so stop by for an hour (or an evening) to experience this D&D gamer's dream come to life. Note: This is NOT a LARP...rather it is a D&D-themed place to hang out and relax.
