I've hunted through several books and I can't find a thing on specialization and multiple attacks even though I know it exists in there somewhere. Could someone pleaes tell me which book and if possible page number to look on to find the information about who can specialize and how many attacks they get normally/with it? -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- [Post 2] Author : Extempus Date : 03-04-08 08:18 PM Thread Title : Re: Where is specialization in 1st ed? I think what you're looking for is in Unearthed Arcana, p. 18. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- [Post 3] Author : Senko Date : 03-04-08 08:24 PM Thread Title : Re: Where is specialization in 1st ed? Ah yes thanks that helps. I still need to find out if mult-class fighters e.g an elf fighter/mage/thief can specialize or if its only pure fighters and it doesn't tell me where the normal attacks per melee round table is. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- [Post 4] Author : SamualT Barronsword Date : 03-05-08 05:21 PM Thread Title : Re: Where is specialization in 1st ed? That's up to the DM I believe, but usually, from my experience, you could specialize as a multiclass fighter. "and it doesn't tell me where the normal attacks per melee round table is". pg. 25 of the PHB. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- [Post 5] Author : RedWizard Date : 03-05-08 05:33 PM Thread Title : Re: Where is specialization in 1st ed? The reasoning behind specialization and why only fighters are allowed it would tend to argue against multi-class characters having it. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- [Post 6] Author : tjhairball Date : 03-05-08 05:54 PM Thread Title : Re: Where is specialization in 1st ed? I know in 2nd edition, there was eventually the option for expertise for multiclass fighters, which gave the attack rate bonus without the hit and damage bonuses. You could use that if you like. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- [Post 7] Author : Senko Date : 03-05-08 06:51 PM Thread Title : Re: Where is specialization in 1st ed? So that's what expertise is thanks for the help. Okay this helps me out a lot. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Downloaded from Wizards Community (http://forums.gleemax.com) at 05-10-08 08:22 AM.
