Remember the Immortal servants I posted earlier this year? I was thinking that we could include which servants each Immortal prefers to use in the Immortal Project. Here are some for Al-kalim..

Angels

Angels are tall genderless humanoid creatures. They are very beautiful and muscular and have a pair of hawklike wings growing from their back. They speak in a melodious voice. Their own language sounds almost like singing. Angels have no shadow and do in fact seem to radiate light. Angels have sworn to serve an Immortal and are always on a mission for their patron. Immortals known to use Angels as servants are Ixion, Khoronus, Asterius and Al-Kalim. Angels never follow Entropic. Should an angel chose to do so he is transformed into a Demon (Fiend).

It is said that Blue Imps (Principalities of Glantri) are elevated to the stage of Angels once they perform seven good deeds. In battle an angel wields a flaming sword or a Bow firing flaming arrows.

They do not need to eat sleep or breathe. They are immune to energy drain, disease, ageing and Immortal level ESP spells. They take damage from Unholy water at the rate of one point per vial. Angels will attack anyone who carries such an item and destroy them. They can spend TP to gain spellcaster abilities of a 36th level spellcaster as an Immortal can. All their ability scores are determined rolling 1d8+25.

In addition they have he following powers:
Teleport without error once per day
Planeshift twice per day
True seeing at will. (Seraph and Archangels only)

Cherub angels are recognised by having four hands. Their wings are silvery. Cherub Angels are very friendly and willing to help any needing person. Seraph Angels are even more beautiful than Cherubs. They have long golden hair and golden wings. They tend to be somewhat removed from mortals. They are sent on specific missions and will not do anything that diverts them from that quest. If sought out on their homeplane, they will be very reluctant to help mortals.

Weapon Mastery (in either Sword or Bow)
Turn Undead

Archangels look like Seraphs, but are even more awe inspiring and beautiful. In fact any mortal daring to look directly at an Archangel must make a save vs spells each round or go blind permanently. Archangels are rarely encountered outside their Patron's Homeplane. They have plots and intrigues of their own to manage. Each Archangel has his own very distinct personality so it is impossible to say anything general about their behaviour.

Special Powers:
Call Other (as an Initiate)
Enhanced Reflexes
Weapon Mastery (in either Sword or Bow)
Turn Undead
