#1zombiegleemaxJul 15, 2005 0:18:15 | I seem to recall one of the supplements for 2nd edition having a chart or something regarding mutations and new races from the Pristine Tower. I have looked through the Revised Dark Sun boxed set, but did not find any information. Does anyone recall where that information was listed? I I plan on having my group go on an adventure in the area and wanted tohave the information available to see what might happen if they get too close to the tower. Any help would be appreciated. |

I don't recall the book you're thinking of, and off hand it was probably a Dragon back issue (I have most of the DS sourcebooks, and don't recall mutation tables in any of them). That said, The Changing Lands of Athas website has an extensive random mutation table in the Book of Mutation section. |

And I do recall old charts somewhere, for generic mutations of Athasians, green scales, exoskeleton, other stuff.. don't recall much from it, though I think it was in the core rules of the revised Dark Sun set they came out with, I could be wrong, however, it had nothing to do with the Pristine Tower. Sorry. |

#8PennarinJul 15, 2005 15:33:51 | Steve Bell is reconstructing his Arcane Shadows website that contains the Prsitine Tower mutation rules, and Seker will one day post his extensive d20 DS adaptation which also contains mutation rules. |

Just added an update to this branch of my site, now this has been mentioned it's as good a time as any to upload it. The 'Pristine Races' image opens a pdf with various abilities and new (generally higher) level adjustments. I'll be illustrating it at some point... Any feedback, helpful additions etc. would be welcome. |
#10sekerJul 16, 2005 18:33:52 | Yes yes penn I will post the stuff when I am finnished..... it is taking alot longer than I expected and I have had to revamp the magic systems extensively multiple times Not to mention the fact I am totally rebuilding the psionics systems currently to be more fluff friendly and make an honest difference between magic and psionics ..... that is the hard part. however if people want my mutation rules those are already complete and I could post them..... they are actually based directly off wizards mutation rules in the d20 modern SRD |
