#1zombiegleemaxJul 18, 2005 23:53:42 | Here goes, any help will be very appeciated. Ill try to make the descriptions as simple as possible. Class:Will probably go with warrior since I will be using just ranged (bows) type weapon. Race: I grabbed an Anthromorphic Animal from the Savage Species Book. To put it simple I am a plack panther/humaniod character. The simpliest I can come up with is that Im from a tribal jungled island on the other side of Krynn. If anyone can come up with a more suitable origin in the land of Krynn with this kind of race, I'd love to here it. EVeryone laughs cause her name is Farrah Khan. Racial Stats/Bonuses: HD 2d8, Size, Med, Level Adj +2, ECL 4, Str.+6, Dex.+8, Con.+4, Int 0, Wis.+4, Cha.0. Nat Armor +1 Prefered Class Ranger. Think this is bad, wait till see my stats. Str. 24 Dex. 30 with a +5 point adj. (some DM house rule) Con 21 Int 11 Wis 20 Cha.9 because of the -5 adj to add to dex (again DM house rule) What Im trying to accomplish here is to make the Ultimate Archer...Any advice or recommendations are greatly appeciated. I've run through most Feats book, Prestige books and other misc. books to try to put together for a fiece damaging maching using a bow. Some thought Ive had was taking the fighter class to get proficiencies and extra bonus feats. Ive also thought about taking a level of monk to combine my wisdom bonus to my AC. All of these idea are cool but I'd like to hear from you guys in helping me out. BTW, The character has the same skills a the leopard template in the Monster Manual, also comes with weapon finesse and alertness. What will make this character is Feats Feats Feats. Thanks for your help! Lets have fun with this, and make a character that will tick my GM off and regret leting me have a character like this in the wonderful world of Krynn. |

#3zombiegleemaxJul 19, 2005 14:29:43 | OK... where should i begin... DL is not a generic setting where u can put anything with no reason! specially those created based on numbers instead of a role and a strong background. That´s a Savage Coast character, please tell your DM to actually read about DL before running a DL campaign and allowing a non DL related character!!! Now, a centaur archer with a mighty composite great bow, that's a DL character! |
#4zombiegleemaxJul 19, 2005 14:38:18 | what about an elf, half-elf or even a kender? |
#5zombiegleemaxJul 19, 2005 14:40:47 | Yeah, kenders rock!!!! |
#6clarkvalentineJul 19, 2005 14:53:49 | Take a Ring of Winning +2. When your PC puts it on, you win. Twice. (Edit: You might have better luck on the Character Optimization forum.) |

#8rooksJul 19, 2005 17:47:51 | Does anyone else have this problem with burning? I put in all the ingredients like the pictures say, but then it all just catches fire. What am I doing wrong? Recipe 1 Character Sheet 1 Savage Species Book 3 fresh razor blades 4 oz. of Sumatra Coast coffee, freshly ground 12 fl. oz. crystal meth 1 20-sided die 1 Dragonlance Forum |

Now dont get me wrong I love FR and have had many awesome campaigns set there but the setting is good for one thing and thats no matter what crazy ass stuff you put there, it wont matter. Dragonlance is a very unique and stylized campaign setting that fits into a certain niche. And that charecter is not niche friendly. |
