#1 richard_k Jul 23, 2005 22:20:41	HI all. Well im thinking of starting another campaign, an' well i usually start with my main big bad guy and build it around him. Though this time round my baddie isnt really that bad i dont think. Anyway hes goin to be a wizard/cleric or psion/cleric. But hes going to be a cleric of "pain", ie by inflicting pain on himself he can inflict pain on u. I was thinking maybe a ragged looking fellow in a sort of brown sack smock kind of thing, with long hair that covers his face, on top of his head to would have a crown of thorns which dug into his scalp, so it would have dry blood matted in his hair. I was also thinking around his arms, legs, feet and wrists/hands he would have leather straps, one side has little needle things that when tightened stick into the flesh whilst the outside is smooth. These he could tighten and use his pain for his spells or something along those lines. Im sort of thinking maybe an empath/ priest of ilmater or soemthing along those lines. Any help to fill this idea out would be much appreciated.
#2 old_sage Jul 24, 2005 3:13:14	Ilmatran faith is more about sharing the pain of those around us -- to alleviate their suffering. You're talking about inflicting pain on others... Perhaps Loviatar, rather than Ilmater, would be the more appropriate choice for this character.
