#2flipJul 27, 2005 12:56:48 | What's that? SORBS is an IP blocking service. One of the ways that people try to fight spam is by using these services which identify IPs with unsecured mail servers. Some of these blacklists are extremly liberal in what they'll block, and most block dynamic IPs on principal alone. Something in the pipeline seems to be checking this list when creating accounts. I don't know what; there are a lot of places that could be doing that, and I can't check any of them from here. I'm guessing that when you tried to create an account, you told it to mail you a password? Try just inputting a password in the two fields. |
