Grymetheans are manifesters who depend on the power of anger and the heat of battle to draw out their greatest ability. They draw upon their inner supplies best through anger and violence. To an grymethean, combat is a means of better exploring the nature of their psyche and improving their abilities. Grymetheans are most often elves, half-elves, humans, or mul. These races are the least disciplined and take most easily to the unique brand of self-discovery that the grymethean uses. Dwarves almost never become grymetheans; their minds are far too ordered to take well to such a path. In order to become an grymethean a character must have at least one level each of wilder and barbarian; beyond that, almost any sort of character can qualify. Very few rogues or bards choose to be grymetheans. The abilities of rogues and bards are best suited to hiding in the background of battle, while grymetheans are normally the first to leap into it. Psions and wizards also rarely deign to 'descend to the level of animals', as most of them see it Hit Die: d10 Requirements In order to qualify to become an Grymethean, a character must fulfill all of the following criteria. Base Attack Bonus: +5 Feats: Combat Manifestation, Power Attack, Reckless Offense. Special: Rage class feature, Wild Surge class feature. Class Skills The grymethean's class skills (and the key ability for each skill) are Autohypnosis (Wis), Balance (Dex), Bluff (Cha), Climb (Str), Concentration (Con), Craft (Int), Handle Animal (Cha), Intimidate (Cha), Jump (Str), Knowledge: Psionics (Int), Listen (Wis), Profession (Wis), Psicraft (Int), Ride (Dex), Spot (Wis), Survival (Wis), and Swim (Str). Skill points at each level: 4 + Int mod.

#3 ruhl-than_sage Jul 27, 2005 20:35:05	I wait with anticipation as well, sorry to be pre-emptive in my critiques, but the name intuitive seems a little strange for a rage/passion fueled manifester. Maybe something like, ... well I don't know, I see the dilema now. There really aren't any good names that capture the essence of the class . Rage Mind Fist of Fury Zealous Psychic....etc...etc they all fall flat. Ignore my post, Intuitive is fine

#9 zombiegleemax Jul 28, 2005 18:45:23	I repeat: name suggestions would be very, very highly appreciated. I realize Intuitive isn't a perfect fit for the class, but it's the only one idea I've had or seen that even remotely has the sort of 'ring' I'm looking for.

#11 zombiegleemax Jul 28, 2005 20:07:49	Keep em comin'. Even if you have an idea you think is stupid, put it up. Someone else may think of something based on it. For instance, I just thought of Inner Storm based on Brun's post. Still not perfect, but it'll do in a pinch.
