#1bigjohn01Jul 30, 2005 2:55:42 | Hi, in my groups upcoming campaign we are playing Dragon Lance, can anyone tell me a little about the Kagonesti? I got some knowledge from my DM, but I always like to learn more since Dragon Lance has been around a longtime and unfortunately, I am brand new to it! |

The wilder elves tend to go their own way, and don't even worship the gods (their patron is Grandfather Ram, who is actually a silver dragon). The other elves ignore the Kags, except when they need more slaves--excuse me, servants. The humans (particularly Istar) have a rocky relationship with them, since they frequently dabble in eco-terrorism. Little nuggets can be found in many of the books written for DL over the years, but The Kagonesti from the Lost Histories sextet is required reading if you're going to play one. Check your local library to see if they have it or someone else can provide it thru ILL. Or you could just try to find a copy of it in a used bookstore (probably harder). Oggie |
