#1DragonhelmAug 07, 2005 18:06:29 | Does anyone remember a thread where I posted sort of a silly interview with Vampire Kryl? I've been trying to find it, with no luck. Lack of search function doesn't help either. Any pointers on where it might be? |
#2daedavias_dupAug 07, 2005 22:30:07 | Does anyone remember a thread where I posted sort of a silly interview with Vampire Kryl? Do you think it is possible that the thread existed on the old version of the boards? I can't remember if the archives transferred over or not. |

I don't think they did, though I want to say it was after that point. If I could just think of when the discussion was going on, or what it was called. Stupid lack of search function... |
#4aliothefoolAug 08, 2005 5:43:19 | Dragonhelm, According to the main page linking to the boards, Wizards is working on the search functionality, however, in the meantime, they suggest using google to search the boards. Here is the text of the message: As many of you are well aware, the search function of these boards is not operational. Wizards is still doing what it can to get this issue resolved. Using google.com's domain restricted search is a reasonably effective method of searching these boards in the meantime, though posts younger than a day will not have been indexed yet. Go to Google's Advanced Search and restrict the domain to boards1.wizards.com. |
#5aliothefoolAug 08, 2005 7:06:54 | Hmmm, I just did a search myself. If I search your name, I get quite a number of results (surprise, surprise However, there are no results for your name and the words vampire, or kryl. There are no results for either word without your name either. Sorry, I guess the posting was, in fact, previous to board updates. Could it be that you posted it elsewhere, and just forgot? |
#6DragonhelmAug 08, 2005 7:13:37 | Thanks for checking. I'm pretty positive I had posted that on these boards. I thought I might have also posted it on the DL.com boards as well, so I'll try the search with DLforums.com as the domain name. *sigh* This is frustrating. |

I thought I might have also posted it on the DL.com boards as well, so I'll try the search with DLforums.com as the domain name. I know it may have been when I was on hiatus from these boards, but I don't seem to remember seeing a thread on the WotC boards ever. Since the DL.com boards encompass so much more than these boards, I may have missed it there. I checked the dl.com domain on Google, but nothing came up either. Hmm, was it ever posted anywhere else, like on the Nexus or anything? |

Since the DL.com boards encompass so much more than these boards, I may have missed it there. I searched both the DL.com boards and the Nexus, and nada. I've gone back about 90 pages on these boards, and I can't find anything there either. Maybe the post is being held up in a gnomish committee. |
#9gerrinAug 08, 2005 11:37:16 | I say never trust those gnomes. Can you not go back and see every post you made by clicking in your profile to see them. I don't know if it works or not but I did see the retreive all post and threads button there. Just an idea. |
#10aliothefoolAug 08, 2005 12:41:04 | I do recall overhearing a kender saying something like "Who just leaves a perfectly good vampire just lying around anyway?" ;) I did look through the DL boards also Dragonhelm, seems it has, in fact, made its way into a kender pouch... |
#11DragonhelmAug 08, 2005 14:35:34 | I did look through the DL boards also Dragonhelm, seems it has, in fact, made its way into a kender pouch... Ah, well. I was just remembering this funny little post I had where I "interviewed" Vampire Kryl about reports that there were no vampires on Krynn (which is untrue, obviously). I should have saved a copy. Thanks for helping me out anyway, guys. I appreciate it. |
