The Sodkillers are back after the Faction War as a major Sigilian faction. They're described at Planewalker.com

The Incanterium were detailed in the second Planescape Monstrous Compendium Appendix - or, at least, their modern successors, the Incantifers, were. I'm sure there's a template for them somewhere in the converted monster thread stickied above. They believe that all the truth, meaning, and power in the multiverse is to be found in arcane magic.

Others, like the Expansionists and Communals, are detailed at the Mimir sects section.

Aug 08, 2005 10:03:25 There was also another long dead faction that was featured in one of the two Planescape adventures in Dungeon magazine, though I don't recall the details on them at the moment.

Aug 08, 2005 16:02:26 The faction described in the Dungeon magazine adventure ("Umbra", issue # 55, I believe) was known as the Zactar (AKA "The Waiting Ones", their original name) after their last factol, who modestly renamed it after himelf. Their teachings, which could perhaps be described as somewhat akin to the solipsistic take on Signer belief turned inside out, boiled down to that the whole Multiverse was created (apparently by the gods, whose position in the belief was not more clearly elaborated on in the adventure) for the benefit of a single creature, known as The One True Being. This One True Beng was to take the form of a half-Tanar'ri. When factol Zactar mysteriously disappeared, the faction was left without a uniting force, and eventually dissolved, but leaving behind a prophecy that The One True Being would one day arrive at the faction's cathedral.
