#1amara_trapspringerAug 08, 2005 16:12:36 | Where can I find maps for Rigus, Acheron, Outlands, etc...? I am planning on running LORD of the IRON FORTRESS, and the 3.0 modules always seem short a few maps. Thank you. |
#2old_sageAug 08, 2005 23:27:30 | The 2e PS supplement A Player's Primer to the Outlands has maps of all the gatetowns as well as the Outlands. |
#3amara_trapspringerAug 09, 2005 10:05:46 | Is that in PDF? Does anyone know where I can find it? I do not own any 2E products, and do not have the money to spend. But my players can be a bit of a handful, and really need visuals of the towns, lands, realms, etc. they enter. Any help would be great, Thanks, Amara |

#5amara_trapspringerAug 12, 2005 12:46:49 | The 2e PS supplement A Player's Primer to the Outlands did not contain a map for Rigus. Does anyone know of a homemade map, or other suppliment that may contain one? Thanks again, Amara |
#6old_sageAug 12, 2005 20:30:31 | The 2e PS supplement A Player's Primer to the Outlands did not contain a map for Rigus. You could just follow the basic descriptions and layout of the gatetown detailed for Rigus and create your own map for the town. Since it's your campaign, it is just as accurate as any "official" map. |

Thanks, But there is one small problem with that. I can't draw. I know, it's bad that a DM cannot even draw a straight stick figure. But I have tried on several occasions to draw maps I have needed, and they have all been disasters. Any help would be great, if no one can, I understand. Thanks for all the advice. |
#9zombiegleemaxAug 17, 2005 0:51:34 | Do what i do get some graph paper if you buy the expensive stuff you get get a ghost line paper where you can't reallt see the lines. or do a i do if you got access to computer and a laser printer to print on. go in excel and make th colum with 1 and the row hieght 10 that makes a perct square. then print as many as you need. for a larger grid and usually more detailed map make the colum width 2 and the row hieght 15 thats pretty good for a small town or a few blocks of a city. you could also do country side maps as well ofcourse. |
