Most of their fortresses are designed so only teleporters can get in and out, so the consequences are quite severe. Blood War battles take a lot longer to get to and from and the tactics change. It's quite a substantial setback for the forces of evil, so they'll quickly want to discover new sources of teleporting power. The yugoloths offer one, but I think some of the demonic and diabolic lords are clever enough to find others.
