#1zombiegleemaxAug 16, 2005 18:13:24 | My apologies if this has already been asked, I could not locate a search function. On various sites on the net, I have found the Dragonlance DM Screen . Does anyone know if this is current to the 3.5 rules? Or is it still 3e? For that matter, is it any good? I have heard from many folks that the current Deluxe 3.5 screen leaves quite a bit to be desired. Since I am running a DL campaign, I figured I might check the DL specific one out, but I wanted some opinions first. Thanks |

There is some errata in there from the DLCS, a little blurb about how to adapt the MM monsters to the setting, and a lot of tables that you don't really need on the screen. I think this is an example of a product that SP should have waited on awhile until they got sufficient content. That said, Forgotten Realms made the exact same mistake. I don't see therefore, why we couldn't do the same fix. Release a "Deluxe Dragonlance DM's screen" with tables that a DM will actually use day in and day out. There can also be a lot of free maps (ie. like Tasselhoff's map pouch) and a sample adventure. Heck, this would even be a good place to put the stats of the prominent new NPC's that have been showing up in the novels lately (that are still alive). ie. Ankhar, Jaymes Markham, Coryn, etc. |
