#1SysaneAug 26, 2005 14:40:42 | Is it me or does it seem like DS giants are underdeveloped as a race? Sure, they make great tools to beat on PC's and what not, but for one of the races marked for destruction during the Cleansing Wars there doesn't seem to much history or substance to them. What part has giants played in people's campaigns other than a random encounter? I have some of my own but would like to hear from other people before sharing my own. |
#2xlorepdarkhelm_dupAug 26, 2005 19:56:14 | Well... as the race that Dregoth was purging, I personally am of the mind that he lost track of that for a bit, working on personal projects. When Rajaat visited him in Giustenal, Dregoth went back to it, and nearly wiped them out. It's taken centuries for the Giants to return in population, and they literally have no record of their history (those records were in Giustenal where Dregoth was storing them before it got demolished). I've not really used them much in my campaigns, however. |
