Welcome to our community! We are always glad to have new (and old) members to talk about their experiences and thoughts about our favorite world

I dont know about any Mirc campaigns or similar for Mystara, though there used to be a couple of PBeMs out there. Perhaps someone else know more about this?

Lots of Mystara products don't have the Mystara Logo on them. If they are accessories to the Old D&D game (not Advanced), they are almost exclusively about Mystara, but with no Mystara logo.

Go here for a complete list of products.

Any time. No IRC channel at the momemt AFAIK. Check out www.pandius.com though for all the stuff you need. There is also a mailinglist you might want to join. pandius.com has the info for it.

Ok now i understand how to use pandius, I have the cycolopedia book which I think gives a good basis of mystara. As I was asking before about online campaigns I belive i remember some Mystara modules made for Never Winter Nights.. somone remade castle codwell and silver princess i belive I think It would be cool If we ran a campaign through that? I would love to give it a shot but I suck a the editer program by the way what is a PBeMs??

Welcome, Destruc!

PBeM=play by e-mail, a relatively self-explanatory method of running a campaign, though there have been many variations on the idea. As for NWN: I have not played any of the various modules out there, although my guess is that they would be quite fun! If you're interested in a persistent world version of Mystara, Rockhome (a somewhat bastardized version, but then, isn't that true of everything?) has seen quite a rennaissance at http://www.theknownworld.org/ , but to get your membership you will need to apply to http://www.copap.org/

Note that these persistent worlds require both NWN expansions and a fair number of free downloads, so it's not something you'll be able to do on a whim.

As Håvard mentioned, pandius.com is a fantastic resource for tons of information, but there is so much there that it can be tough to find an answer to a simple question--feel free to ask in here, and someone (probably someone more helpful than me) will answer

I'm running some old modules at http://forums.somethingawful.com ($10 registration fee required to post), but mainly for comedy. I'm kind of hoping to start up a more serious campaign in the future, though.

I think somebody did a Keep on the Borderlands once. It ties in to Mystara easily. NOt sure though, I only played NWN a little bit. I never have really enjoyed the VG's since the old Mystara ones in the 90's. The original Hack-n-Slash D&D games. The Dark Alliance's is just a hacked version on steroids of those previous games. My problem with VG's is they are way too canon on the rules systems for my taste. I guess that comes from being a DM since I was 10. I like to mix it up a bit.
