Ok, second try. I've changed a few things since the first time I've posted this PrC, namely that you have one PrC instead of two. I need suggestions to make it workable. Also, I'm working on the Hunter Cult Initiate (10 levels) and Drummer of Gulg (5 levels) PrCs (Any suggetions or ideas about these PrCs are welcomed in the Gulg[ideas] thread).

Finally, I was wondering if a Royal interrogator (psionic) PrC was worked on?
Thanks.

Elite Judaga
“Your head is mine.”
- Jabori, dwarven Judaga meeting a Nibenese scout.

Elite Judaga warriors and archers are trained within Gulg’s army to fight within the confines of the forest. These head-hunters make superb ambushers and stealthy skirmishers, appearing amidst a group of Nibenese woodcutter crew and leaving with there heads as ghosts would. Usually, the elite Judagas are trained after they have shown an affinity and aggressiveness in returning with there adversaries’ heads. In the end, it’s up to the Judaga’s leading templar to decide if he is to be trained or not.

All common humanoid races have been seen as elite head-hunters at a time or another but the majority are humans. The rarest would be the halflings for they have mostly fled since the Oba tried to force them into service. A very few of the ones left have accepted her offer and make the finest elite Judagas; the rest were thrown in her dungeons.

Hit Die: d10

Requirements
To qualify to become a Judaga warrior, a character must fulfill all the following criteria.

BAB: +4
Skills: Hide 3, Intimidate 3, Move silently 3, Survival 7.
Feats: Death blow, Weapon focus (spear or short bow).
Special: Must be part of Gulg’s army.

Lvl BAB F R W Special
1st +1 +2 +0 +0 Combat training, Mother’s arms +1, Nibenese hatred
2nd +2 +3 +0 +0 Sneak attack +1d6
3rd +3 +3 +1 +1 Improved combat training, Mother’s arms +2
4th +4 +4 +1 +1 Sneak attack +2d6, Quick trophy
5th +5 +4 +1 +1 Combat unit mastery, Death attack, Mother’s arms +3

Class Skills:

The Elite Judaga class skills (and key ability for each skill) are Climb (Str), Craft (Int), Handle animal (Cha), Hide (Dex), Intimidate (Cha), Jump (Str), Knowledge (nature), Knowledge (warcraft), Listen (Wis), Move silently (Dex), Ride (Dex), Spot (Wis), Survival (Wis).

Skill Points at Each Level: 4 + Int modifier.

Class features

Weapon and Armor Proficiencies: Judaga warriors are proficient light armor, shields and with both simple and martial weapons. They also gain proficiency with the Juka (sacred head removing blade... will post shortly).

Combat Training (Ex): Upon first entering this class the judaga must choose which combat training he will favour: melee or archery.
If the judaga selects melee training, he gains the war cry ability, usable 1/day for every 2 judaga levels, which allows the judaga to designate one target of his choosing within 15 feet that will become shaken if failing a Will save against his Intimidate check.
If the judaga selects archery training, he gains the poison use ability, as per the bard class feature in the DS3 Core Rules.

Mother’s arms: Judagas receive a +1 competence bonus to Armor Class, as well as a +1 bonus to Hide checks, while in forest terrain. The bonuses increase to +2 at 3rd level, and +3 at 5th level.

Nibenese hatred: Young warriors are taught to hate Nibenese with a passion. This confers them with a +3 morale bonus to bluff, intimidate and sense motive check and a +3 to damage when dealing with Nibenese. On the other hand, their xenophobia gives them a -3 penalty to Diplomacy checks when dealing with them.

Sneak attack (Ex): Relying on stealth and ambushes, the judaga learns to spot weaknesses in her prey. This is the class feature is the same as described in the PHB.

Improved Combat Training (Ex): At 3rd level, a judaga's training provides him with another benefit. If he selected melee at 1st level, he gains the rage ability, as per the barbarian class feature in the Player's Handbook.
If the judaga selected archery at 1st level, all the arrows the judaga fires are treated as seeking arrows. Running after enemies in the dense forest as taught Gulg’s archers to shoot around trees and through bushes with deadly accuracy.

Quick trophy (Ex): Taking the heads of enemies becomes an art achieved even faster then before. Coup de graces are made as a free action at 4th level.

Combat Training Mastery (Ex): At 5th level, the judaga masters his training. If he selected melee at 1st level, he gains the death attack ability, as per the assassin class feature in the Dungeon Master's Guide. As an ambusher he now knows how to take his prey's head off before it realizes it’s missing.
If the judaga selected archery at 1st level, he gains the ghost of the forest ability. When sniping from at least 10 feet away from his opponent, the judaga may attempt to hide at half penalty. This ability stacks with the Sniper feat.

Death Attack (Ex): Judaga learn to get their trophies without the prey realizing it. This works as described in the DMG.

Ex-Judaga
A judaga who turns his back on his queen and survives is considered exiled and cannot gain new levels as a judaga. She retains most of her abilities except the Mother’s Arms class features.

Special: Must be part of Gulg’s army.

Aren't judagas the city's nobles?

Knowledge (war)

That Knowledge skill does not exist. Its Knowledge (warcraft)

Mother’s arms

Change the writing to this:
Judagas receive a +1 competence bonus to Armor Class, as well as a +1 bonus to Hide checks, while in forest terrain. The bonuses increase to +2 at 3rd level, and +3 at 5th level.

Nibenese hatred

Make the bonus a morale bonus.

Smite infidels

"All non-gulgs" is too much. Make it "enemies of Gulg, that is all characters designated as enemies by the templarate, and those characters that willfully attack the judaga in the execution of his functions."

Combat unit training

Unless you chose archery because the official fluff said so, I suggest to, instead of seperating infantry and archery, saying melee judaga and ranged judaga. I'll go on thinking its archery and melee.

Combat unit training

The ranger has the Combat Style ability. I suggest renaming all related abilities to match the same style, so it would be Combat Training, Improved Combat Training, and Combat Training Mastery.

So I suggest changing the wording of all three class features like this:

Combat Training (Ex): Upon first entering this class the judaga must choose which combat training he will favour: melee or archery.
If the judaga selects melee training, he gains the war cry ability, usable 1/day for every 2 judaga levels, which allows the judaga to designate one target of his choosing within 15 feet that will become shaken if failing a Will save against his Intimidate check.
If the judaga selects archery training, he gains the poison use ability, as per the bard class feature in the DS3 Core Rules.

I'm a bit confused as to where it stands with your other Judaga PrC...

It stands alone, the other PrCs were divided into two distinct ones: archers and melee fighters. I just made them one and the same. You are a Judaga as either a melee warrior or an archer. I called it "Elite" since I figured not everyone in the army were necessarily good enough ambushers or "war" hunters. Being part of the army makes you Judaga (you remove heads) but you still could be just normal fodder at the front line since you're pretty replaceable. The Elites are sent as flankers, to prohibit the enemy from retreating or as special guerilla forces before the war actually starts.

Nope, there is a difference. Nobles can be Judagas but not all Judagas are Nobles. The soldiers of Gulg's army are all Judagas, but not all Nobles. At least, that's how I've always understood it.

Will do.

I've changed the Smite infidels for the Sneak attack feature since I had the same problem with the Death attack as the hunter noble PrC. This feature might change to the Skirmish one, but I'm not convinced yet.

I know that the two PrCs seem to have many of the same features (which stack) but I did that intentionally to point out that judagas may become stronger nobles after a few levels than a simple fighter who goes on the Red Moon Hunt.

Sorry, I thought I had commented too.

One suggestion, how about having an ability that actually ties into the Ral (the red moon).

Judagas are soldiers of Gulg's army. I think that would be the realm of the hunter noble which has to be chosen as such after a Red Moon Hunt.
