Applications for certain spells on Athas

Oct 12, 2005 1:46:34		Just as the title says, how do you use certain spells from the PHB and DS3 on Athas? (It can be difficult for some DMs to find applications for specific spells while other DMs can know of half a dozen...)

Here I start:
Awaken water spirits (DS3): Has anyone made useful utilization of this spell? I don't see much the point of the spell.
