#3zombiegleemaxNov 03, 2005 10:20:31 | Check out Airships by Bastion Press. Great resource for building ships, and easily converted for Spelljammer purposes. It's a book? if you hav it on your comp plees add it'ok? oh,and haw I convert a spelljummer from 2E to 3E? |
#4DragonhelmNov 03, 2005 12:27:16 | It's a book? You can check it out here: Airships. There's a free download called e-Ships (scroll down on that page) that will give you a sample of the book. I tried converting a galleon from 2e to the airships system, and it turned out pretty well. There's guidelines in there that are a huge help. I don't remember exact details off-hand, but I highly recommend this book. |
#5zombiegleemaxNov 03, 2005 13:07:40 | You can check it out here: Airships. tenk you, but in te book tet I add on te bigining(Shedow fo the Spider Moon) I aren need a cherecer/ship sheet to areng it.are you shur it's easy to convert it? #6DragonhelmNov 03, 2005 15:20:17 | Airships converts from 2nd edition well. I haven't tried it against Spider Moon, truth be told. It's been a while since I've looked at all of that, so I don't recall details. |
#7savant_warlord13Nov 03, 2005 19:06:31 | I would look for old Spelljammer books on eBay and do an internet search do find more ships |
#8old_sageNov 03, 2005 19:32:08 | Also, try nobleknight.com or dragontrove.com for hard copies of the classic SPELLJAMMER supplements. Or if you don't mind PDFs, try paizo.com or RPGNow.com for electronic copies at $4 - $5 US respectively. |

#10zombiegleemaxDec 13, 2005 3:40:56 | I would second the inclusion of Airships for SJ. A few of their engines just cry out that they were borrowed or at least inspired by the original helms. Not to mention some new ideas that come in handy. Someone who has the book spot me on this, doesn't the one engine where energy from the Positive and Negative energy planes smack suspiciously of the mechanics from a certain Sci-Fi series known to most gamers? |
