Now, seriously DL is much on its hystory and persolnalities. The Cataclism, War of the Lance, the companions and the dragonlords are the basics, read as much u can on this. |

Once you find one, ask him or her to appraise your equipment for you. Next, find a gnome. Proper etiquette states that you should introduce yourself, then ask the gnome's name. After that, kiss a draconian, they love that. If you are playing in the War of the Lance period, call out Lord Soth to a duel. He is a great sparring partner, and usually lets you win one or two before taking you seriously. Seriously though, don't do any of the above. I don't know if there is anything that could be said that would be critical to you playing in the setting. I would suggest getting your hands on the canon material (Chronicles, Legends, and War of Souls trilogies.) However, since you don't have time for that, just treat it like any other setting until you learn the history. Just keep in mind, there are no Orcs or Drow on Krynn! ;) |
