#1zombiegleemaxNov 23, 2005 4:08:00 | I noticed that Fortubo and Ulla used to be married in 2nd edition but in 3rd edition this has changed to Bleredd & Ulla. Diety divorce? Anyone got any thoughts on this? |

Not to mention that since Fortubo is a Suel deity, I don't think he would "mix" with a deity from outside his own pantheon. |
#4ripvanwormerNov 23, 2005 12:33:54 | While he is a descendent of Lendor, Fortubo no longer considers himself part of the Suel pantheon; he largely abandoned the Suel when they created the derro millennia ago. He's firmly in bed with the children of Moradin, now. Moradin even created Fortubo's sentient hammer, Golbi. From Dragon #88: Fortubo is said to have found little pleasure in men. He has allied himself with the dwarven gods Moradin (see DEITIES & DEMIGODSā Cyclopedia) and Berronar (see DRAGONĀ® Magazine #58 or Best of DRAGON Magazine, Vol. III) in their struggle against humanoids who harm the earth with mindless tunneling. Golbi is said to be a personal gift to Fortubo from Moradin himself. However, Ulaa has been married to Bleredd since 1st edition, when the two gods were first created. There has never been a relationship between Ulaa and Fortubo - and if there was, it was an error. Personally, I decided Fortubo was married to the dwarven goddess Sharindlar. |
