#1PennarinNov 29, 2005 9:33:19 | Ahh, doesn't it feel good (or bad, depending on your preferences) for the boards to be in a period of fluff/flavor? I'm not seeing any mechanic elements being proposed: PrCs, monsters, spells/powers... |
#2SysaneNov 29, 2005 9:46:54 | Well, there was the Champion Template ordeal. ;) |
#3PennarinNov 29, 2005 11:40:34 | ...mechanical elements outside of athas.org material, that goes wihtout saying. ;) |

#5kalthandrixNov 29, 2005 15:09:37 | Would you see the Dregoth write up as flavor- I do but I am just wondering. I have noticed that the board has seemed to be pretty slow lately too- I guess life is catching up to some of us. I have two PrC's brewing (still), my NPC Guide project, and Borys in the mix right now. I am also updating some of the DS adventures too. What is everyone else up to lately? Pennarin- have you gotten any further with the dream artifact? |
#6SysaneNov 29, 2005 15:13:09 | I've put most of my projects on the back burner for now. I'll more than likely resume them some point after the holidays. |
#7zombiegleemaxNov 29, 2005 15:19:45 | yea the holidays are slowing things down a lot. |
#8master_ivanNov 29, 2005 17:10:41 | Not that I am putting any projects on this site, or any other for that matter, but some of us go to school (I'm voicing for us school-nerds), and final exams are coming so...yeah real life is pretty much taking it's toll. But still Jon, Kal, Xlore, Pen, Sysane, Brian and co. have been working their asses off to make DarkSun 3e more playable, at least since I joined. This is the far best DarkSun thread I've found on the internet.... so c'mon guys give yourslelfs some credid!! |
#9ZardnaarNov 29, 2005 23:07:09 | I'm working on homebrew stuff. Basically a PrC or 2 (Disciple of Rajaat, Psi Sorceror), rules for advanced beings, a new weapon, and tweaking houserules for the DS document from Athas.org. |

I've done some projects here and there, but nothing that has majorly impacted the community. |

#12kalthandrixNov 30, 2005 12:12:58 | Hey Sysane- was that weapon you made for the Uncon War of Worlds the final version? Oh and I was wondering if we could get Pennarin to add those links to the Archive- they were sweet and deserve to go in there. |
#13SysaneNov 30, 2005 13:13:02 | Hey Sysane- was that weapon you made for the Uncon War of Worlds the final version? Not to sure. I have a final version saved to my desk top but I don't know if I bothered to update it on the Uncon thread. I'll take a look and repost or add the link to my signature. |

Maybe a sword, but swords are the most common magical weapons with daggers bringing up second I think. Maybe a datchi club. If it were to be a sword I would make he blade be a green-type of steel (like batorian greensteel<= spelling) and it would have a solid gold hilt, pommel, and crossguard. I have several minis painted that have weapons with the same paint job- a staff, swords, hammer, and a bow. It looks very cool. I do have a sword I have been thinking about- one of its powers would be that any damage it takes is instead redirected towards its source- like the kinetic control power- So it would basically be indestructable, and any force directed at it is returned to the origin. It will be a 'good' weapon and I was thnking of have the blade be a swirled mix of platinum and adamantine. |
#15SysaneNov 30, 2005 14:12:50 | Alright Kal. The Link to Nature's Fury is now under my sig. |
