#1 elussan_of_the_bow Nov 29, 2005 10:19:22	does anyone have the stats for a hoopak? can't find it anywhere! oh, and is this considered a martial weapon for kender or an exotic weapon all-around? thanks in advance!
#2 cam_banks Nov 29, 2005 10:24:10	A hoopak is an exotic weapon for everybody but kender, who treat it as a simple weapon, since it's really just two simple weapons (staff and sling) combined. Some hoopaks have sharper ends, which means they can also be used as shortspears (also a simple weapon). Most hoopaks are Small, since kender are small, so they don't do a whole lot of damage, but hey. It's a hoopak. Cheers, Cam
#3 valharic Nov 29, 2005 13:44:53	The stats for it are in the DL DM Screen. But if you don't have that, treat it a 3 weapons out of the PHB. First as a sling, second as a short spear, and third as a quarterstaff. These are all used in the small damage catagory for a Kender.

#6 kipper_snifferdoo_02 Nov 30, 2005 15:27:45	Considering there isn't a "hoopaks-r-us" and most weaponsmiths are not going to be making kender hoopaks for sale, you're probably going to have to go to a kender for a hoopak. They will probably just trade it for something intresting... plus the cost of whatever they hapen to lift off you as you are closing the deal with them. :D

A kender never steals, just because you happen to be very clumsy and are always dropping coins aroound the kender is it his fault that he is nice enough to pick them up and hold them for you?!!!!
