Each successful melee attack (or ranged attack within 30 ft) reduces the enemy’s power resistance by one for 12 hours (this stacks) Cerebral Immunity (Su): an AE of 9th level or higher gains immunity to all compulsions and mind affecting effects Bonus Feats: extra aberrant feats at 1st and 7th level, extra psionic feats at 4th and 10th level. characters MUST take a bonus aberrant feat This class is based on the illithid slayer prestige class. An Aberrant Emancipator travels wildspace freeing slaves, particularaly from aberration races, since their slaves are the least likely to escape on their own. Aberrant Emancipators Have to be able to think like Aberrations to hunt them efficiently, and they become more like the things they gain experience. Aberrant Emancipators are most common among Half-Giants. This is because the Half-Giants in my campaign are a slave-race of the Neogi, and many of the Half-Giants are still enslaved. The Half-Giants that escaped were the work animals of a large neogi shipyard asteroid. They were able to escape because their inbreeding unlocked a passive psionic gene that spread throughout the population over the generations and allowed them to break free of their mental domination. The inbreeding also led to their unexplainable lack of strength and constitution in comparison to their Giant ancestors. |

#4iplaydnd35Dec 17, 2005 9:31:14 | Bonus Feats: extra aberrant feats at 1st and 7th level, extra psionic feats at 4th and 10th level. characters MAY NOT choose not to take a bonus aberrant feat this doesnt sound right. i know what you are trying to say, that the PC must select the feat from the list of aberreant feats but it just doesnt sound right as it is now. |
#5savant_warlord13Dec 18, 2005 13:32:28 | No, that's not what I'm saying. What I'm saying is they can't even choose not to take any feat at all instead of taking the aberrant feats. They get one whether they like it or not. If they refuse to pick one, the DM should pick for them. |

They get one whether they like it or not. If they refuse to pick one, the DM should pick for them. Double negatives are often confusing. Instead of saying "characters MAY NOT choose not to take a bonus aberrant feat," it would be clearer if you wrote "characters MUST take a bonus aberrant feat." Wyvern |

Instead of saying "characters MAY NOT choose not to take a bonus aberrant feat," it would be clearer if you wrote "characters MUST take a bonus aberrant feat." good point, I changed it too just that the reason a character might not want to take an aberrant feat even if that means taking no feat at all is because aberrant feats have some penalties associated with them that the player might not want |
#8loki_de_carabasJan 12, 2006 19:38:57 | What if you made them take a random Abberrant Feat at each of those levels... I didn't do it and the pictures lie.
