Had a post, but changed my mind and couldn't find out how to delete it so just edited it.

I read Spectre of Mist. My question is, Did Soth escape or what really happened in the end. I know Sithicus changed as a result of the story.

Anyone know what really happened to Anzalon (sp?) after Lord of the Necropolis.

Yes, Soth went back to Krynn, thanks to Hickman's whining.

And do you mean Azalin or Ansalon?

If Azalin, LoN is non-canon, so anything in there has no bearing on the continuity of the setting. But after the Requiem, Azalin merged with the land of Darkon for 5 years, before escaping. It's pretty much well detailed how he did this in the Gaz II and other products.

If Ansalon, soon after Soth returned, the Great Dragons came and asserted their supremecy over the continent. 25 years later, during the War of Souls, Takhisis revealed she had never left, had her sole (if you'll excuse the pun) worshipper kill Soth and died herself. Before she kicked the bucket she had Mina (her worshipper) kill Malystryx and Khellendros and had a hand in the death of Berylinthranox.

Yes, I meant Azalin. I did not read the article where he escaped, but i read lord of the necroplois and loved the book.

Unfortunately for you, it has been declared "non-canon"

Why? Because it means he can't enjoy it? ;)

In the plotline the book was based on he pretty much blew himself up and his essence was scattered across the land. Over five years he managed to gather himself together enough to restore himself and returned.
There was to be an adventure that detailed his return but a variety of factors (switch to 3E, white wolf, hard-core drug use ;)) pretty much ended this.

It's my favourite rumour.
It just seemed so outlandish and absurd to the point of hilarity.

I am really curious what a Sithican Miracle is. Did Inza have an immaculate conception?

as with most things in ravenloft we may never know what a Sithicus Miracle really is, prehaps it has something to do with festivis? heh heh ;)
