#1kelanenprinceofswordsDec 23, 2005 22:28:03 | Was reading Return to the Tomb of Horrors and under the section titled Pitchfield, it is mentioned that Count Hazendel and his household have all vanished, and their pets were found killed. I couldn't seem to find any explanation for this elsewhere in the module. Does anyone have any idea what happened there? |

His blood (and the blood of those of his family) could be seen as carrying great power. Since the Skulkers have increased their foul rituals in response to the apparition of the Dark Intrusion, what better beings to sacrifice (or experiment upon) than Hazendel and his kinfolk? For all we know, they could even be trying to create some new elf-undead abomination! The only thing we can be reasonably sure of is that they didn't succeed since Hazendel is the (now) king of Sunndi.. or is he? :evillaugh |
