Which cultures (and races) resembles nomadic culture from real world cultures?

The Rovers of the Barrens (roughly like the Great Plains cultures of North America)
The Tiger and Wolf Nomads (roughly Mongols, though the Wolf Nomads have interbred heavily with the Rovers of the Barrens)
The Paynims (roughly Bedouins)
The Rhennee (roughly Roma gypsies)

I'd actually have pegged the Paynims as being a mix of Bedouin/Berber in the Dry Steppes and more Turkic nomads of Central Asia (pick anything from the ancient Scythians through the Huns, Avars, Khazars, Kwarazmians, Seljuk Turks etcetcetcetc..... ) in the Plains of the Paynims (and points west).

The more Bedu types would be decendents of the survivors of the Baklunish Empire, whereas the more Turkic types came east with the Brazen Horde (see the LGG for details).

Similarly, Ull has a very Turkic/Mongol sounding semi-nomadic culture.

Well, with 3e, halflings are supposed to be some kind of travelling folk. File that under "kenderification of hobbits"...

Most hunter-gatherer tribes are nomadic, or else they've got a big problem keeping their members fed. The orcs of the Pomarj are a good example.
