#1zombiegleemaxJan 04, 2006 22:12:08 | Using the Time Reaver Spell, I wonder if its possible to prevent the Irda from breaking open the Graygem and releaseing Chaos? |
#2chuff80Jan 04, 2006 23:35:01 | Only if the race doing the time traveling is one of the Chaos races...(kender, gnomes, etc). Of course, anything is possible if you're the DM. :D |
#3zombiegleemaxJan 05, 2006 2:20:34 | Would that mean that a gnome could never be a Master of a Tower of HIgh Sorcery? They gain access to the time travel spell, I would think that it would be a negating factor. |
#4zombiegleemaxJan 05, 2006 7:32:21 | Would that mean that a gnome could never be a Master of a Tower of HIgh Sorcery? Good point I think it's VERY, VERY rare that any of those races are that high level Wizards of High Sorcery. But strange things happen. I think so experienced Wizards Gnome (or something else) choosen to be Master of Tower / Master of Order would be wise enough to know the dangers of that spell and his own use of that spell. But, on the other hand, you never know... |
#5zombiegleemaxJan 05, 2006 9:01:25 | the legends book alternate reality with the mages running the world has a dwarf as master of one of the towers. that counts. like was mentioned, if they'e master of th etower, they would understand the folly of tampering with the timestream. |
#6chuff80Jan 05, 2006 9:02:09 | The Dragonlance gnomes don't have enough interest in magic to become that powerful anyway. It would be completely out of character. That being said, you can make whatever character you wanted.... |
#7zombiegleemaxJan 06, 2006 13:33:50 | It is my understanding that most gnomes are renegade wizards but since most dont travel outside of Nevermind they are left alone by the orders. |
