Third: RPGNow.com (I think that's the site) has the PDF files of the 2nd Edition books for like $5 or so per book. That's your best bet at getting fluff material. Free is illegal, and this is WotC's forums. Talking any more about free is something the WizO's aggressively exterminate. |

#6zombiegleemaxJan 25, 2006 15:17:43 | Well let me start, where can I get a short rundown of the world (Kind of like a "back of the book" paragraph or two that will tell me if its right for me) |
#7squidfur-Jan 25, 2006 15:55:44 | Here's what I'd recommend your first few products be: The Revised Box set - for setting info (although the overall feel in the 1st box set is better IMO, the revised has much more info) The Veiled Alliance - has tons of useful info on all 7 major cities plus a few smaller ones Dune Trader - beware of contradicting material, but with it's info on the major trading houses, this ones also a must Also in certain circumstances I'd recommend: City-State of Tyr - if your adventuring in Tyr :P Ivory Triangle - if your campaign takes place in Nibenay or Gulg Elves of Athas - if you plan to use elves at all Thri-kreen of Athas - ditto, but with TKs |
