Help with book titles please

Jan 24, 2006 17:34:45 I have read so many DL novels. I remember parts of novels that I like but I cant remeber which book they were in.

1. The book had a dwarf that did believe in magic so he could shrug off the effects. I think he had a human barbarian companion, plainsman,

2. The book that had details about creating the draconians from good dragon eggs. The characters actually when down into the tunnels where this was being done.

Don't think I've read 1. However if I'm not mistaken, 2 is Dragons of Spring Dawning. Porthios and his Silver Dragon ladyfriend went into the tunnels and discovered the goings on that broke the pact that the good dragons made for the safe return of there eggs. I don't think so but if not Spring Dawning definatly Winter Night.

Jan 24, 2006 23:59:32 #2 could also be Emperor of Ansalon. The "dwarf" books are The Gates of Thorbardin, Stormblade and the Dwarven Nations trilogy; I think the first might be the one you're thinking of.

Jan 25, 2006 13:27:28 #2 is briefly talked about in Dragons of Spring Dawning, but I believe it was in detail in the Odyssey of Gilthanas that talks about Gilthanis and Silvara's discovery of Tahkisis's treachery in converting the eggs.

Jan 27, 2006 14:32:48 #1 is Hammer and Axe, the second book in the Dwarven Nations trilogy by Dan Parkinson. The dwarf was Damon Omenborn and his friend was a Cobar barbarian.
