I have always preferred to use the original stuff modified for 3e, but I am curious if anyone is using good chunks right out of Sandstorm. There was another thread about this recently - can't find it at the moment, though, sorry. In short, yes, there are several elements in the Sandstorm book that can easily be ported over to a DS game, primarily environment and terrain features, but also plenty of the spells, feats and monsters. The classes need a bit more work (but it's still manageable), but I'd imagine that importing the races might be a little more problematic for the standard DS game. |

Here are the most relevant ones: Sandstorm in DS. Sandstorm and Dark Sun, help creating character. Sandstorm. Sand Storm. |
