The third picture in your second post is the airship from Final Fantasy X. Final Fantasy IX included a LOT of airships, many (most?) of which could be great images to use for Mystaran airships. In fact, the game includes a lot of imagery that could be used for Mystara quite easily. There is a huge battle between an army of airships and a swarm of silver dragons which is rather impressive to see. |

The third picture in your second post is the airship from Final Fantasy X. Ah, that explains it. I thought I saw something like that in some of the web adresses. I like the imagery though, and as you say, it could quite easily fit with Mystara. If I go on and run a campaign more oriented towards flying vessels, it would be cool to use these as handouts to give the players some idea of what to look for. Håvard |

None of the others (in the second post) strikes me as especially suitable -- too much steampower (or other engine), while most mystaran skyships work on a mixture of magic and wind power. |

I thought about this as well. However, the propellers may not actually be what drives these things. Perhaps they are just decorative things that move with the wind, while the ships are actually powered by magic? Just a thought... Håvard |
