#1 squidfur- Feb 17, 2006 21:38:57	I can't seem to remember/find where the info on Breakshore, if there even is any, exists. So, if someone here knows... well can you post a source and page number, or somethin'? PRETTY PLEASE!!!!
#2 ruhl-than_sage Feb 17, 2006 22:24:47	Well, its not on the location list and that seems like a pretty thorough reference. It seems like it's probably a Raamin client village nestled in the mountains along the coast. I would imagine that they have a port and silt skimmers that trade along routes connecting Cromlin, Fort Firstwatch, Bitter Well, and Lake Island. From the info in the Veiled Alliance book on Raam, Breakshore is located in the moutain range that used to be mined for gems and has probably declined in importance with the depletion of the mines years ago. Though it may or may not have actually been a mining town itself, it might have been an important port for receiving supplies for the mines, or for shipping gems for trade to the other communities along the coast.

It seems like it's probably a Raamin client village ... and that location list would be where? is it in the archive and i just missed it? and i do know this much: there is a very quick mention of it in City by the Silt Sea, under the entry for Cromlin. It states that there is a trade route connecting the two villages (Breakshore and Cromlin), and that House M'ke of Raam has heavy sway there (or controls it, can't remember just now). seemed like i thought there was more info on it...somewhere. hmmm. thanx for the help though sage.

#5 Kamelion Feb 18, 2006 6:10:18	Yeah, according to my locations list there is only a brief mention of Break Shore in CbtSS - it doesn't appear in any of the other 2e material, afaik. City State of Draj has a good column's worth of information on it, though.

#10 ruhl-than_sage Feb 19, 2006 9:17:03	The info in City State of Draj is interesting and compelling, even though it is in direct conflict the info on breakshore in the City by the Sea of Silt, and almost in direct conflict with the information in the Veiled Alliance book. It does help to explain the "one of the only gold mine on athas" line in the Walis entry, but from the description is sounds very poorly defended in comparison. Of course if it is about to run dry, its not as large a prize I guess, but gold is still gold.
