Maybe I am still trying to get some ground back from the time greyorm pointed out my insure/ensure issue and did a like a 5 page write up on it- I still look up that thread sometimes and get a giggle from it ;)

The Order is in "disarray" since the destruction of the Psionatrix but they are on the rebound! I am planning a kinder and gentler Order this time aroound. Case in point, they will no longer hunt down those psions who will not join them once they gain 21 levels. They need to rebuild, so the standards have to be lowered.
What are your thoughts?

The Order is in "disarray" since the destruction of the Psionatrix but they are on the rebound! I am planning a kinder and gentler Order this time aroound. Case in point, they will no longer hunt down those psions who will not join them once they gain 21 levels. They need to rebuild, so the standards have to be lowered.

I do not want to drop too much right now, but I think that while they may have loosened up a bit, it will still be the Order- required neutral, no spell casters, min 21 level and maxed out at highest level of psionic powers in one psionic class. I could see them admitting psychic warriors, but not wilders.
I have a few ideas for some abilities, but the pickings are slim for unique non-feat and psi-like abilities- I do have some ideas though and might be able to get something together this weekend.
I would say that the only reason they would not hunt down those who do not join is because they are weaker at this point, but I could see a splinter group forming either within the existing Order or breaking away (and not worrying about retribution due to the low member count in the Order), but I would still say that they would not take "No" kindly still.
Maybe this will be the kicker I needed too so I would finish this artifact I have had in the works- the Dread Masters Crown.

Yeah, definitely keeping in all of the above. Psychic warriors and Wilders are too far removed from the psionic ideal and that is what the Order represents.

In my campaign, fully 8 Order members were killed by the PCs (12 overall), including the top dog (forgot his name?). "No" would still be a poor response but I don't see them hunting anyone anytime soon. They may even allow previous "applicants" to reapply if they were powerful enough. I haven't decided on that yet.
There was already a splint in the Order concerning the Psionatrix, so a further split over new membership isn't out of the question. In fact, it is pretty likely.
Dragon's Crown alluded to the Order being disorganized for several years (IIRC). I disagree. Because they were lawful, I would believe that time frame would be measured in months.

I think I posted a kind of summary on the Crown a while back- it was on a psionitrix (?sp) thread- so if you feel froggy look it up and it will give you an idea of what the Crown will be able to do.
