#3kalthandrixFeb 23, 2006 12:59:50 | Very cool flindbar- I love the menu for tonight! Any chance of having some roasted fire drake sometime- nothings better then a charred stake from a 30' tall lizard!!! |
#4nytcrawlrFeb 23, 2006 13:15:07 | Ok bro, I could easily see a whole accessory done on this. This must happen! Or at least something to add to the City State of X accessories we do, heh. |
#5flindbarFeb 23, 2006 13:28:31 | Ok bro, I could easily see a whole accessory done on this. Ok. Just let me know what you would like. I also have a floor plan and write up of the Golden Kank :D |

#8nytcrawlrFeb 23, 2006 19:46:32 | I want to try some of this stuff! No kidding, this is making me hungry. |
#9hunterccFeb 24, 2006 10:22:52 | Excellent, nice work!! Now all it needs are the prices!! |
#10kalthandrixFeb 24, 2006 10:37:18 | Excellent, nice work!! Now all it needs are the prices!! It doesn't sond cheap either! More of an upscale establishment in the nobles or templars quarter. |
#11ruhl-than_sageFeb 24, 2006 20:51:16 | It doesn't sond cheap either! More of an upscale establishment in the nobles or templars quarter. Yah, you probably get really small portions on a huge plate for an exorbent price. |
#12flindbarFeb 25, 2006 2:40:05 | hey hey hey! The prices are reasonable, the portions are huge - well except for the zabra. (do you know how difficult it is to get sandworm jerky these days !) The golden Kank is situated on the corner or Trade way and the Nobles district but we have a fairly eclectic mix of patrons. :D So ........ stop staring at the menu outside (you know you can't read!) and pull up a chair next to the rest of your companions at table 12. Yes that one over there by the fire. ;) |
#13flindbarFeb 25, 2006 2:45:37 | Prices are a little tricky. I had a bash at them last night but as I can't find prices for any other food stuffs (apart from water) so the start point is a little difficult. I priced in real world terms (both in £ and $) according to its rarity and exoticness. I just need to convert it |
#14nytcrawlrFeb 25, 2006 8:10:26 | MENU Though you already touched on the Zabra, I would imagine that these would be the most expensive dishes (and probably smaller portions) since these things are pretty hard to kill and pretty rare to find. |
#15jon_oracle_of_athasFeb 26, 2006 3:01:01 | Very cool, Flindbar. Can I post your menu on Athas Online? Also, will we be seeing examples of a lower class menu as well? |

#28kalthandrixMar 02, 2006 9:30:09 | gross! Cistern Fiend soup? Thats like eating bowel parasites... some of the others don't sound too appealing either, better leave it up to the professionals Kal :P Ooooo! That hurts Sage- Think about it- the skin of a sausage is in come cases made from intestine right, southerners eat chitlins (pig intestines), other cultures eat brains and eyes of other creatures- like fish eyes- so it could be that in some places blwel parasites would be a deliciticy, huumm, huumm, yummy good for the tummy :D Don't be a hater Sage- maybe you want to come up with some vegian dishes for the non-meat eaters in DS. |
