#1 nightbreeze Feb 25, 2006 17:16:44	My party is going to have some conversations with a very very ancient shadow great wyrm and he's supposed to teach a little bit about the shadow plane. I checked my old planescape manuals and noticed the the shadow plane was simply a fast growing demiplane inside the astral plane. When did it reach the plane status? Also, where can i find material for an extensive speech about the shadow plane( 3-3.5 ed stuff is quite useless, as usual) ?

There are no demiplanes in the Astral. When did it reach the plane status? During the shift between 2e and 3e. Also, where can i find material for an extensive speech about the shadow plane( 3-3.5 ed stuff is quite useless, as usual) ? In Planescape, the only detailed look was in A Guide to the Ethereal Plane, but the section in the 3e Manual of the Planes was actually more extensive. There are various Dragon articles, but not being a full plane in 2e meant it got kind of a short shift.
