I know that Barovia is quite similar to the slavic east, Borca is similar to when Italy was still the papal states and that Vorostokov is basically the Kiev Principalities, but what other domains are akin to our world? And is there an English or Celtic based Domain? |

"Pseudo" because, while they draw on the celtic civilization, their tech-level is higher (or "was" higher at their height) than what you would expect of true celts. Dementlieu/Richemulot are french-based (obviously) Souragne reminds me much of Louisiana (back when it was still french) Mordent is the XVIIth century english countryside at its most stereotypical. Falkovnia is similar to german provinces during the 30 years war. Har'Akir is Egypt. Sebua too, to a certain degree. |

Drakov appears to be a blend of Vlad Tepes and Hitler Odiare: A domain pulled from Gothic Earth. Pinocchio gone bad. Sea of Sorrows: The lord is based on the Flying Dutchman legend. Kalidnay: A desert version of the Sumerians (at least, that's been always my interpretation). Rokushima Taiyoo and I'Cath: Oriental setting. The Amber Wastes: The ancient Egyptians for two domains and Pharazia strikes me as Arabian around the time Islam was gaining dominance (the religious aspect) [Do you know how hard it is to be tactful about Pharazia in light of a certain comic strip? I just hope the radical elements don't get an original copy of Darklords. :surrender ) Tepest: It may have Celtic aspects but it more reminds me of the Salem witch trials. |

Kartakass: Possibly Switzerland/Austria/Southern Germany. Forlorn: First and foremost Scottish, it seems. Nova Vaasa: Strikes me as inspired by Russia and possibly the countries to its immediate west. |
