#1trevgMar 17, 2006 11:19:29 | Does anyone have stats on the KotW / D prestige classes. I was under the impresion that there had been classes for these groups previously written up, but haven't been able to find any mention of them in Dragon or Dungeon magazines. I know there is a version in the LGG, but the stats arent available for the public (you have to join the organization in order to get the information). So any help or direction would be greatly appreciated. Thanks |

You are absolutely right, I meant in the LG (Living Greyhawk) RPGA not LGG (too many abbreviations) Trevor |
#4kwint_pendickMar 17, 2006 21:23:09 | It may just be a renaming of a PrC from one of the Complete books or their predecessors, or maybe even just a cert...I'd ask over at the LG Forums... Kwint |
#5varthalonMar 17, 2006 23:09:32 | I don't have the stats... but they were updated to 3.0 in one of the Living Greyhawk Jounals (the one released in Dragon 273 I believe). Also, the Shedomar Metaregion has updated them to 3.5 but only gives the stats out to people who's characters are joining the Knighthood. |

I knew that there had been stats done for them somewhere but hadn't been able to find out where. Thanks for the help. Trevor |

First of all the LGJ didn't start to appear in Dragon before issue #290. Second, official stats for a 3.0 version of the KotW and/or KotD were never published in any LGJ that I know of. On the other hand, there have been stats for the Knight of the Chase (Dragon #297), Knight of Holy Shielding (Dungeon #113), and Glaive of Azharadian (Dungeon #293). And the KotW/KotD were given quite a lot of background info in the old 3.0 splatbook Sword and Fist (no stats though). |

THe LGJ first appeared in Dragon 290 (The articles about Death Knights I think). I believe I have the other articles you mentioned, and think that you are probably right about KotW/D not being statted out anywhere, which means I will have to do my own Prestige class for the organizations. Well I'm off to read every scrap of info I have on the group for the 4th time. Wish me luck... Trevor |

#11trevgMar 22, 2006 15:05:15 | Well using the avaiable info Ive come up with a couple of prestige classes for the Knights of the Watch and Dispatch, but I am a terrible judge of my own work. Any advive . constructive critisisms would be appreciated. Thanks Trevor Knight of the Watch The Knights of the Watch were usually drawn from the armies of Bissel, Gran March, Geoff, and Keoland. Their purpose and goal was to protect the lands to the east from Baklunish raids and invasions. The resent wars have currently decreased their numbers to such an extent that membership in the order has been opened up to those who meet the requirements, with former military service no longer required. Knights of the Watch have constructed and manned castles and keeps along the border in order to protect and guard the people. Requirements Race Human / Half Elf / Dwarf Alignment Lawful Good / Lawful Neutral / Neutral Good Base Attack Bonus +5 Skills Ride 4 / Diplomacy 1 / Handle Animal 1 / Craft - Weaponsmith 1 / Craft - Armorsmith 1 Feats Mounted Combat / Cleave / Armor Prof - Heavy / Weapon Prof - Lance Note This Prestige class is available only to those who have achieved the rank of Vigil Class Features Skills Handle Animal / Intuit Direction / Knowledge / Knowledge (Religion) / Ride Diplomacy / Spot / Heal / Climb / Jump / Intimidate / Sense Motive - Knights of the Watch gain 4 skill points per level. While the Knights of the Watch are content to wait behind strong walls, within the Knights of the Dispatch it is required to go out and actively combat the foes upon their borders in order to justify the aid that they receive. Knights of the Dispatch are looking for a different type of Knight within their group and the training and skills of the Knights of Dispatch varies.
