Also, how do we deal with Paladine and Takhisis in pre-Age of Mortals time? We know now that Gods are able to stand in the River of Time and see forward. How does Takhisis take not being there? Or Paladine who will now see himself struggling within the river's currents like any other mortal? |
#2brimstoneMar 28, 2006 17:33:39 | I think so. Going into the past would allow one to become a cleric of Paladine or Takhisis still. Because, as described in HOotS, the gods are still part of the River of Time, only Chaos and the High God are apart and outside it. Which means time effects the gods, so you can go to one point in time where Takhisis exists and one point where she doesn't. In the past, Paladine would not have forseen his future mortal self because that was a seperate River. When Takhisis stole the world, she stole it out of it's proper time and space. But now, the River is reconnected so, I guess that would kind of mess with Paladine and Takhisis of the past since their future just changed on them. You'd think that'd make Takhisis try and stop herself from stealing the world in the first place...but I'm going to try and not think of that...yeah paradox! |
