Those under four feet tall must keep their guard up, lest an elf splash them with Boris Gorevitch-Woszlany's Brew of Hair Growth on their chin or feet and watch the ensuing madcap hillarity as they are chased by dwarf or halfling hunters! Boris Gorevitch-Woszlany's Brew of Hair Growth This simple potion was devised by Boris when he tired of people mocking his much-receded hairline. After some experimentation, he abandoned the effort, but his research notes are readily available in the library at the Great School, so many have duplicated his work. When it comes in contact with skin, donkey hair immediately grows on touched areas. The hair will regrow immediately if cut: dispel magic and remove curse are the most effective means of quickly removing unwanted hair, although burning or acid will also do the trick (though with unpleasant side effects). The hair will last for a day, falling out all at once after twenty-four hours. It is rumored that Magdalene d'Ambreville discovered the secret of creating a version of this spell that will grow skunk hair after she had the misfortune of mistaking a delayed blast fireball for a ruby while adventuring and, tragically, lost her hair. It seems likely that this rumor is false, as no other mage reports any success in creating this brew for anything other than donkey hair. |
