#1mortellanApr 12, 2006 17:21:19 | Just got it in the mail, two copies in fact-strange. Anyhow, here are my GH observances from this issue: Creature Catalogue V: SKR's Norker finds its way from LGJ and back into Dragon. Nuff said there. As a side note, at +2 Dex, +2 Con, -2 Cha, Int, Wis and a +1 to AC for size and +5 Natural AC, they could make a pretty good character or henchman. Wormfood: 6 High level beings from the outer planes you can gate in to save your behind in the AoW. I particularly like Xitomat, the LG male Couatl Monk. There's a concept. Wormbound, the secrets of Kyuss: follows up on the Kyuss craze (maybe he wil be as belabored as Vecna or Tharizdun someday) with some handy evil feats and spells. I applaud Jesse Decker for referencing the Flanaess, Ameido is a misspell though. Not GH specifically, but The Tide of Battle, Class Acts is done by CF's own C .Wesley Clough. Check it out. BTW, Improved Whirlwind, Wes? why? WHY?! :P And now my favorite part, the preview of #344, the 30th anniversary: The Return of Gord: a new short story about Gord. Cool! By Gygax and K.R. Burgoine. Wha? That raises an eyebrow. The Wizards Three: Finally my question answered! Apparently we will learn the culinary tastes of Elminster, Mordenkainen and...Rautheene. Yes she remains, no surprise Eberron wizards so it would seem. 2/3 GH representation. Go Core World! :D |

#3ElendurApr 13, 2006 13:30:11 | Ah, the Norker originates in Greyhawk? Good deal. Did the LGJ article mention where they live? As always, Sean's stuff is interesting and well designed. |
#4MortepierreApr 13, 2006 16:24:30 | Ah, the Norker originates in Greyhawk? Good deal. Did the LGJ article mention where they live? It didn't, although it did mention that Iuz used quite a few of them. It's hardly a secret these days that Rary also recruited many to help him in his conquest of the Bright Desert. |
#5ripvanwormerApr 13, 2006 16:47:16 | Ah, the Norker originates in Greyhawk? Good deal. Did the LGJ article mention where they live? According to the World of Greyhawk boxed set, they're found in Iuz, the Bone March, the Pomarj, Verbobonc, and the eastern Vesve Forest. |
#6zombiegleemaxApr 17, 2006 9:46:45 | If I remember correctly the first place they appeared was WG4 wasn't it? That would also put them in the Yatils. |
#7zombiegleemaxApr 28, 2006 8:10:33 | The Return of Gord: a new short story about Gord. Cool! By Gygax and K.R. Burgoine. Wha? That raises an eyebrow. I hope you like the story when you read it. I think alot of people will. We are tinkering with the idea of making a few more new Gord stories as well. K.R.Bourgoine |
