I am trying to see if I can do this challenge. Make paramental and quasimental dread planes.

This is what I have so far:

"Some say, how can the demiplane of dread have quasimental planes. Though the answer is easy. People assume that things are always either black or white. But in reality there are many shades of grey inbetween. Though the demiplane of dread seems evil, in reality it is the blending of good and evil, life and death. Despair thrives as neither side can truly ever win. Both forced to enternally suffer"

Positive Quasiplanes
"Though it is true that these are the most positive places within the realms of dread. The dark taint still thrives. Though the dead do not thrive here, darker monsters of life live in there stead. For who says life and death has alignments?"

Great wheel version ---------- Demiplane of Dread version
earth + positive = Mineral <> grave + positive = maggots
air + positive = lightning <> mist + positive = thunder
fire + positive = radience <> pyre + positive = ?
water + positive = steam <> blood + positive = ?

Hmm blood mixed with life, probably would mean a plane of monsters. The dna changing into living beings =/...

Negative Quasiplanes
"If you thought the rest of the planes where dark, you have seen nothing yet"

Great wheel version --------- Demiplane of Dread version
grave + negative = dust <> grave + negative = bone
air + negative = vacuum <> mist + negative = ?
fire + negative = ash <> pyre + negative = charcoal? it would be shadow if it was not taken
water + negative = salt <> blood + negative = scab

Meh I am stuck now, I have not even begun to think of paramental =/.....

Any ideas people?

Hmm.. these come to mind

fire + positive = radience <> pyre + positive = glare
water + positive = steam <> blood + positive = acid
air + negative = vacuum <> mist + negative = noxious fumes
fire + negative = ash <> pyre + negative = cinder

Have fun with it and do what you will for your campaign, but as RL is a demiplane, it really shouldn't provoke quasi-elemental development. It could be a lot of fun to play around with, though.

Whose to say that it can't be an unusual Cluster. Heck, I've been toying with a Gothic-Hell domain.

Well, the physiologist in me would have to say that the "positive energy" counterpart to blood is milk (nourishment-conveying bodily fluid), while the "negative energy" counterpart to blood is urine (i.e. extracted & concentrated toxins from plasma). But the former isn't spooky, and nasty though the latter might be, it isn't really the right kind of "gross" for a horror game....
