#2cam_banksMay 17, 2006 16:52:03 | According to the DL SM Screen Handout, the Jarak-Sinn are in the bestiary of Krynn, but i can't find them. Help. Please. They were cut for space along with the skyfisher, cave lord, yaggol, and huldrefolk. The huldrefolk showed up later in Towers of High Sorcery, and the others have yet to see print. Cheers, Cam |
#3darthsylverMay 17, 2006 18:29:10 | What are the jarak-sinn, cave lord and the huldrefolk (in general terms) or is there no info on these creatures. |
#4darthsylverMay 17, 2006 18:43:25 | Oh yeah forgot, will these creatures be included in the revised bestiary of Krynn coming out? |
#5zombiegleemaxMay 31, 2006 10:41:05 | Arent the jarak sinn just lizardmen? |
#6cam_banksMay 31, 2006 11:06:52 | Oh yeah forgot, will these creatures be included in the revised bestiary of Krynn coming out? Possibly. We did write them up, as a lizardfolk variant, but they were cut from the first printing. Cheers, Cam |
#7wolf72May 31, 2006 16:53:12 | will any added critters be in a webupdate? ... for those of us who have BoK already and don't plan on buying the updated version? (the errata file works fine for me) on a hulderfolk note, will there be any clarification of the Hulderfolk elves from 2e/Time of the Dragon (or was it tales?) |
#8darthsylverJun 01, 2006 13:16:44 | The Hulderfolk were in the Time of the Dragon boxed set for taladas. Tales of the Lance details Ansalon during the War of the Lance. |
#9zombiegleemaxJun 07, 2006 18:47:31 | Werent the hulderfolk in the Towers of High Sorcery? |
#10cam_banksJun 07, 2006 19:09:56 | Werent the hulderfolk in the Towers of High Sorcery? No, the huldrefolk were. Hulderfolk (-erfolk) are an elven culture from Taladas. Huldrefolk (-refolk) are primal fey that look like Gray aliens (or Reticulans, or however you want to call them). Cheers, Cam |
#11wolf72Jun 08, 2006 17:24:17 | No, the huldrefolk were. Holy Semantics Batman! ... thanks for pointing that out Cam. Never noticed that before. I remember reading an article in Reader's Digest about mispelling words and how if the letters are correct (just wrong order, except for the first and last or some such thing) you could still make out the correct word when reading (without realizing its been spelled wrong) ... re v. er ...very nitpicky! |
#12zombiegleemaxJun 08, 2006 17:24:46 | Thanks for the clear up Cam. |
