#1gabMay 25, 2006 7:27:17 | If anyone checks the Other Worlds forums page, you'll see that the Dark Sun forum now has more posts than the Dragonlance forum! http://boards1.wizards.com/forumdisplay.php?f=286 |
#2xlorepdarkhelm_dupMay 25, 2006 9:22:40 | yea, we've been going back and forth with them for a month or so now :P |
#3kalthandrixMay 25, 2006 10:35:34 | Sooo...the number of SPAM posts we have are finally paying off!!! |
#4zombiegleemaxMay 25, 2006 13:52:01 | plus, they have more threads, meaning they are less likely to stay to one topic because they are simply not as dedicated |
#5ruhl-than_sageMay 25, 2006 14:01:15 | Go Spam!! :d |
#6brun01May 25, 2006 15:20:35 | Whe just need to Kal have another slow day at work and we'll be so far ahead they'll never catch up... :P |
#7ruhl-than_sageMay 25, 2006 16:22:05 | Whe just need to Kal have another slow day at work and we'll be so far ahead they'll never catch up... I'd say 1,830 posts is a pretty solid lead. They'd have to make a pretty concerted effort to catch up at this point. ;) |
#8jon_oracle_of_athasMay 25, 2006 16:33:18 | If we keep posting about being ahead, we´ll stay ahead. |
#9mystictheurgeMay 25, 2006 16:37:24 | If we keep posting about being ahead, we´ll stay ahead. I concur. |
#10kalthandrixMay 25, 2006 16:44:13 | Well- I actually took the day off of work today- I was sick...sick of working! So I stayed home all day and played God of War- which BTW is a pretty sweet game. So that would be the reason that my post were less today- but I am only like 1 post (after this one) from 2,000- so I am sure I will do what I can to "aid the cause". |

I have days off work for all sorts of lame reasons. I can usually get away with it if I can make the boss laugh with a lame excuse. My best one was I had to lok after my sick goldfish. 2000 posts huh, I'm in the 3000's over 5 years. Gotta spam more Um yeah go Dark Sun |
#12the_peacebringerMay 26, 2006 6:45:01 | Yea, go DS forum! Woohoo! Just doin' my part. :D |

Gotta spam more I get days off from work basically whenever I feel I can survive not getting paid for those hours I'm not there. But, I have a job with flexible hours, which proves to be useful when I'm working full-time plus going to school full-time, and tutoring for the college on the side. Have I mentioned I really don't have much free time? |

#15zombiegleemaxMay 27, 2006 10:07:07 | but I would hope that those here valued Quality over Quantity! i have been not been posting much at all in the last few months, but i do read a majority of the threads posted. not that is has any real revelance to the subject at hand, but then again, just read my signature! |
#16jon_oracle_of_athasMay 28, 2006 2:01:19 | Nice signature. Hey, all you people who have days off work, why don´t you pump out new threads so we can surpass Dragonlance on that too? :P I reckon each of you should be able to pull off fifty or so threads per day... I am kidding in case someone didn´t get that. After we received that inquiry about the project concerning Rajaat´s stats two years after we posted a rant on April Fool´s day, I´ve grown more careful about these kinds of jokes. ;) |

Did you guys know that something really bad happened to someone really boring a really long time ago I tell you more about nothing tomorrow. Like when I spammed you guys a month ago with the exact same thread. Yeah...we have issues, at least I can excuse myself, I'm a recovering alcoholic (for real)! |

#21terminus_vortexaJun 04, 2006 14:56:24 | I had Spam for lunch. And restarted work on my own Avangion conversion. Anyhow, does anyone want a gmail account? I have 94 invites left, and it's a solid email provider. Good for keeping DS DMs in contact. Just email me at TerminusVortexa@gmail.com, and the invite will be on the way. (How's THAT for spam!!!!) (but the offer is legit) |
#22OninotakiJun 05, 2006 14:20:59 | I would be really excited if we could pass both dragonlance and forgotten realms in both the number of posts and the number of threads. I really can't help but imagine that wizards of the coast greatly underestimated the popularity of some of its settings, darksun in particular. |
#23xlorepdarkhelm_dupJun 05, 2006 14:43:37 | I guess we're really a force to be reckoned with. |
#24radnoviusJun 05, 2006 15:41:14 | All hail our glory :surrender |
#25dunselJun 05, 2006 17:54:28 | Spam, spam, spam, spam....Ohhh, beautiful Spam! |

I really can't help but imagine that wizards of the coast greatly underestimated the popularity of some of its settings, darksun in particular. Forums don't equal $$$ in pocket though. Dragonlance and FR also have popular novel series as well. IU loved the Prism Pentad and the Lyn Abbey books but they don't have the appeal of Drizzt or the DL saga. |
