In the 2E Monstrous Manual for Athas, elementals suffered greater damage from defiler spells and draining. Does anyone know what the effects were? I think lesser elementals were destroyed if they were caught within the defiling radius, normal elementals suffered 1-10 or 2-20 hp damage if they were in the radius etc.. Thank you |

When a defiler casts a spell to damage an elemental, the elemental is affected by the spell as if the caster were 5 experience levels higher than he actually is. In addition, if the elemental is within the area of destruction of a defiler spell, that elemental is immediately destroyed. |

In my campaign, since I have the Gray as a combination of the Ethereal & Astral planes, it has properties of both. So... Astral Constructs in my campaign would actually be called "Gray Constructs", and I'd probably have them with a smokey-gray color indicative of the realm the substance is from. |
