Reading it I'm not sure if I choose one object per minute and then get an instantaneous glance through it, or if I get constant vision and can change it once per minute. I'm pretty sure you're going for the latter, but it could also be interpreted as the former. I'd suggest something more like "You can see all light striking one surface of your choice within range. You may choose a new surface once per minute or continue to scry through the same one." "One may only dispel the eye by breaking the obsidian surface or by casting some protection from scrying." This line suggests that something like a successful Dispel Magic wouldn't end the spell, which seems like it shouldn't be the case. You might say "The eye remains visible in the surface as long as the spell is in effect." Since you make it clear that breaking the surface ends the spell, you've got that covered, and it means that normal methods for ending spells and spell effects will still work. |
