#1radnoviusJun 09, 2006 1:43:08 | So this doesn't make sense to me. In 2E muls aged as humans with the only major difference being maximum life expectancy. With 3.5 E they reach all of the age increments more quickly. This really doesn't make any sense. A cross between an elf and a human produces a half-elf that ages more quickly than an elf but less quickly (substancially) than a human. A cross between a dwarf (who on Athas liveslonger than an elf) and a human produces a mul that ages more quickly than a human. |

#3pneumatikJun 09, 2006 7:42:16 | I'm reading through the PP right now (just into book 5) and Rkard seems to be growing up faster than a little kid would. I hadn't looked at the 3.5 age table for athas, but I had assumed that muls just gew up faster and lived shorter lives. If they're to be the half-orcs of athas, which is sort-of how I see them, then this fits. |
