#1zombiegleemaxJul 14, 2006 15:04:12 | I am posting this again here as the original was on the new forums and we all know they are borked. I am also using my old account as the newer account was created during the upgrades and is not accessible atm. Here is the first page for those that missed it. I expect to have the second page up Monday or Tuesday morning. http://i89.photobucket.com/albums/k230/xrt3v/Page1.gif Jon, thanks for the offer to host my comic. I'll take you up on your offer once I have more pages up. |
#2sekerJul 15, 2006 13:53:04 | I like it so far, and am looking forward to reading more as you get it done. |
#3rellJul 16, 2006 9:05:57 | I like it too. Obviously, there isn't much to say with a first page, but I like the fact that the desert isn't just a bunch of dunes. And the huge sun is nice too. ;) |
#4zombiegleemaxJul 16, 2006 11:44:04 | I've lived in the Arizonan and Texan deserts so I have a fairly good source to draw from than just sand dunes On the large sun comment, I was also thinking of using the two moons, Ral and Guthay (spelling correct?). Anyone know any details on the two moons? Which is larger, what colors? any unique surface marks? I haven't had time to look through my books for the details. |

#6PennarinJul 16, 2006 18:55:35 | The sky passes through all kinds of colors during the day, and rapidly changes during dusk or dawn. |
#7jon_oracle_of_athasJul 21, 2006 12:49:25 | Jon, thanks for the offer to host my comic. I'll take you up on your offer once I have more pages up. Cool, I assume you know how to reach me. |
#8radnoviusJul 25, 2006 16:20:28 | As I remember the sky might be deep olive.... The spectrum would spread out a bit while the sun was low on the horizon going to yellow-orange pink, purple. The sun should probably be a more red than yellow though. Otherwise it seems a pretty good lead in to a story. |
